Brazilian beach volleyball star Adriana Behar, teaming with Shelda Bede, won six FIVB (international beach volleyball federation) Tour titles––five consecutive years, 1997–2001, and again in 2004.
The pair won World Championships in 1999 and 2001, a World silver medal in 2003, and a bronze in 1997. They also captured a gold medal at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg.
